Helgi Þorgils Friðjónsson

Helgi Þorgils Friðjónsson (b. 1953) has been a prominent figure in the Icelandic art scene for nearly five decades, working as a visual artist, curator, and gallerist. He is best known for figurative paintings and sculptures that tackle existential themes with a subtle sense of humor. Educated in Iceland and the Netherlands, Helgi has staged around 50 solo shows and contributed to countless group exhibitions around the globe.
