Skíðaævintýri ÓIafsfjarðar
Pálshús is one of the oldest houses in Ólafsfjörður. It was built in its current form by the married couple Páll Bergsson and Svanhildur Jörundsdóttir. The history of the house is directly linked to the origins of the town’s fishing industry, in which Páll was one of the key pioneers.
Curious about what life in town was like during the last century? We’ve scanned a range of historical photographs documenting the people, work, and everyday life of the 20th century. Take a look back in time and see how our town evolved into what it is today.
